Jo Holland

I am an artist working with light, nature, time, and photography as a means of perception rather than documentation.

My work explores the subtle relationship between presence and peace, visibility and sensation. Through photographic processes that engage directly with natural forces, I create images that function as experiences—quiet, immersive, and attentive to what exists just beyond the immediately visible.

These works invite a slower way of seeing, where light becomes material, nature becomes collaborator, and the photograph becomes a space of encounter rather than representation.
